Følsgaard is expanding its product range with the new Post-Industrial Recycled (PIR) Nylon 6.6 cable ties and mounting solutions from Panduit. These new products are made from recycled industrial plastic and can reduce the CO₂ footprint by up to 36% compared to standard cable ties – without compromising performance or longevity.
According to the UN Environment Programme (UNEP), only 9% of the world’s plastic waste is recycled, and by 2050, up to 12 billion tons of plastic are expected to pollute nature. With these new cable ties, Følsgaard offers a solution that helps companies achieve their sustainability and ESG goals while maintaining installation quality and operational reliability.

The recycled cable ties are made from up to 100% post-industrial recycled nylon (PA6.6) and feature an ergonomic, tapered tip that ensures faster and more efficient installation. The low insertion force reduces operator fatigue and increases assembly productivity.
At the same time, the ties and mounting solutions are impact-modified, heat-resistant, and UV-stabilized, making them ideal for demanding industrial and outdoor environments – such as construction, transportation, electrical installations, and renewable energy.
The products have been independently tested and certified according to standards including UL 62275, UL 2809, IEC Needle Flame Test, as well as CE, UKCA, RoHS, and EU REACH, ensuring full traceability and verified quality.
