Energy and Environmental Surcharge
Joint Effort for Sustainability and a Responsible Value Chain.
As of June 15th, 2026, we will therefore introduce an Energy and Environmental Surcharge of DKK 79 per order.
The green transition is placing increasing demands on companies throughout the entire value chain. In order to meet both regulatory requirements and our customers’ expectations regarding sustainability, we have implemented a number of initiatives aimed at reducing CO₂ emissions, energy consumption, and environmental impact, as well as ensuring responsible handling of packaging and waste.
These initiatives have been implemented to meet our customers’ expectations of a more sustainable supplier. Until now, we have absorbed these additional costs, but in order to continue maintaining and further developing these efforts, it is necessary to adjust our pricing structure. The surcharges outlined below are intended to ensure transparency and a fair distribution of costs across the value chain.
The Energy and Environmental Surcharge help cover costs related to:
- energy taxes and environmental requirements
- reduction of CO₂ emissions
- investments in more energy-efficient and environmentally friendly technologies and processes
Future Focus
We will continue to work proactively to:
- reduce energy consumption and CO₂ emissions
- minimise the amount of packaging
- use more environmentally friendly packaging solutions
- optimise waste management and recycling
Our goal remains to offer competitive prices and sustainable solutions, while taking responsibility for our shared environmental footprint.

Producer Responsibility Surcharge
As of June 15th, 2026, we will also introduce a Producer Responsibility Surcharge of DKK 14 per shipment on our standard services.
As of October 1st, 2025, extended producer responsibility for packaging was introduced in Denmark as a result of the EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Directive. The scheme obliges companies that place packaged goods on the Danish market to finance and organize the collection, sorting, and treatment of packaging waste, including cardboard, plastic, wood, and steel.
For shipments using wooden and steel drums, producer responsibility costs will additionally be charged separately per kilogram, in accordance with applicable regulations and in separate agreement.
