An intelligent alternative to push buttons and traditional HMI panels

The S100 is a compact Ø100 mm touch display with up to five configurable touch zones. The display can show short instructions, status information, counters, timers and measured values, while 16 RGB LEDs make it easy to read machine status at a glance. Haptic feedback and audible feedback also provide the operator with clear confirmation of input.

A simple alternative to an HMI

Many machines do not require the functionality of a full-scale HMI. In these applications, the S100 can be an attractive alternative when the operator simply needs to view relevant information, acknowledge notifications, reset functions or make a limited number of selections.

The S100 can be installed directly where the operator works, bringing information and control closer to the process rather than concentrating everything on a central control panel. At the same time, it can reduce the need for separate push buttons, indicators and labels.

The S100 is available with discrete I/O, IO-Link and Modbus and features a robust IP69K-rated design, making it suitable for demanding industrial environments and washdown applications where equipment is regularly cleaned using high-pressure, high-temperature water – for example in the food and pharmaceutical industries.
